My fee is $250 per 1-hr evaluation session and $205 per 50-minute session. I offer a $100 discount for self-pay clients and accept insurance. I am currently in-network with Quartz, Network Health, Anthem, BlueCross and BlueShield (including Blue Priority), United Healthcare (Commercial), Optum, UMR, and Cigna. Depending on your current health insurance provider, services can be covered in full or in part. Please contact your health insurance plan before you make an appointment to verify how much you will need to pay for services.
For insurance plans in which I am not in-network, some clients have a portion of their services paid for through out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits. I will be happy to provide an invoice called Superbill after you have received services for you to send to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. I’d recommend contacting your insurance company in advance to see if they cover out-of-network providers.
Payment is due at the time of each session by credit card or an HSA/Flex spending account.
A significant number of my clients are professionals or entrepreneurs who need support managing the stress of their careers, relationships, or current concerns. Yet, they don’t fulfill the criteria for a mental health disorder. Not checking all the boxes for a disease may guarantee a denial for those using health insurance to pay for services.
Most insurances have adopted the medical model in which preventive services are not always seen as essential. Such an approach makes people believe they do not have the right to seek support. In my experience as a clinician, I have seen how preventive services improve the wellness of high-functioning individuals by providing support before issues get more significant or out of control.
If this speaks to you, you have the right to seek services to improve or maintain your mental wellbeing even when you are a high-functioning person.
With the self-pay modality, you do not need to have a diagnosis. You can decide who sees your records and the amount and length of services.

I try very hard to maintain a small caseload and offer the best therapeutic experience for you and others so when you don’t attend your session it has an impact. If you are unable to attend, please make sure you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before. I keep myself available through email, texts, or phone calls and if possible, will try to accommodate you for another time within the same week. Failure to cancel or reschedule ahead of time incurs a $70 fee.
